Hobson Prior is seeking an Expert in Viral Vector Development for Downstream Processing to join a biotechnology organization in Leiden, Netherlands. In this role, you will lead the development, scaling, and transfer of viral vector manufacturing processes while collaborating with global partners. This position focuses on ensuring readiness for clinical and commercial production.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and transfer of manufacturing processes, including reviewing protocols and scaling strategies.
  • Work closely with external partners and internal teams to address technical challenges and improve processes.
  • Conduct assessments to identify gaps and accelerate viral vector development.
  • Build strong relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure timely and reliable supply.
  • Document critical processes and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for knowledge sharing and regulatory purposes.
  • Act as a project expert for viral vector programs, aligning efforts across development, testing, and manufacturing functions.
  • Contribute to regulatory documentation in collaboration with stakeholders.
