Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri)Environmental Conditions OfficeJob DescriptionPositionThis Engineering position is aiming to lead projects for systems in a dynamic and innovative Operations environment. The ideal candidate is a professional, typically responsible to run 2 to 3 projects in parallel and acts as spokesperson for assigned projects. This position collaborates with various departments during development of sustainable products according to the latest quality standards, at lowest COGS throughout the life cycle of a product. Your challenge will be the smooth introduction of new systems into factory/field, meeting the needs of all your customers and combining short term goals with long term needs. The System Project Lead reports directly to the Manager Engineering Project Management.How you will make an impactAccountable for assigned system projects from OE perspective to enable successful introduction according to Product Management ProcessFormulate plans for Operations (factory) and Service (field) in accordance with defined scopeDrive progress & results for assigned system projects from project management perspectiveEnsure monthly project updates, Ops preTSMs and status reporting in timely mannerEnsure on-time completion of all OE deliverables per gate with expected quality/maturity levelInvolvement and contribution to R&D system integration project teamsCollaborate with OE Module Project Lead(s) of linked module project(s)Collaborate with System Integration engineers on technical content (product/process/tooling)Job RequirementsTypically requires experience in Operations, at least 3 years in Engineering environmentBachelor or Masters degree in technical area (Physics, Engineering),Experience in high-tech industry with New Product Introductions, desirable in cleanroom enviroment, knowledge and/or experience with electron microscopy is beneficialAbility to handle complex technical projects, project management certification is desirableExperienced in phased project gating process (PMP or similar method)Ability to plan and resolve issues constructively with multi-functional, multi-disciplinary groupsCollaborative team-payer with mentality to build constructive and harmonious relationshipsAbility to work in a structured way, according to plan, goals, priority and scheduleExcellent English language skills (both verbal and in writing), Dutch will be a huge plusGets results, even under difficult situations and has ability to influence the best integral solutionsWhat We Offer-Direct contract with Thermo Fisher Scientific with a competitive salary, 13th month, holiday allowance and annual incentive bonus-Flexible working hours arrangement-Excellent career progression opportunities within a growing global employer-Training and courses available via our Thermo Fisher University to continuously develop yourself-Collaborative work in an international environment-Very attractive 40 holidays per year-This is a full-time position (40 hours).
