- Algorithm Development: Research, implement, and optimize algorithms for object detection, image segmentation, image classification, multi-view stereo, structure-from-motion (SfM), depth estimation, surface reconstruction, and volumetric modeling.
- Model Training & Evaluation: Design experiments, select architectures (e.g., CNNs, transformers, NeRFs, 3D/4D Gaussian splatting), and manage data pipelines for large-scale image and point‑cloud datasets.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, modular, and well‑tested code in Python.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with domain experts to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Research & Innovation: Stay current with academic and industry advances; prototype novel techniques, publish findings, and contribute to patent filings as appropriate.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns, conduct code reviews, and share best practices in algorithm design and software engineering.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. a plus).
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in computer vision research and product development.
- Proficiency in Python, experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of multi-view geometry, photogrammetry, SLAM, or related topics.
- Experience with point‑cloud processing libraries (e.g., PCL, Open3D) and mesh/volume representations. Strong grasp of neural rendering techniques (e.g., Neural Radiance Fields) is highly desirable.
- Soft skills: Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Published papers or open‑source contributions in top-tier CV/ML conferences (e.g., NeuroIPS, CVPR, ICCV, SIGGRAPH). Experience with real‑time systems. Knowledge of advanced sensors and sensor fusion techniques. Experience with 3D reconstruction. Proficiency in C++. Familiarity with GPU programming (CUDA) and inference optimization (TensorRT, ONNX Runtime).
