This includes unloading deliveries, verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting products for damage or discrepancies, and logging inventory into the system. Once checked, goods are labeled and moved to storage or directly to the appropriate processing area. The department plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.What you’ll doYou will coordinating the day-to-day departmental performance by leading the team through departmental activities to achieve respective goals.You will be the first contact person of the DC field team in case of unclarities, questions, etc.Next to coordination of day-to-day department performance the warehouse lead is supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in the coordination of continues improvement.You'll report in to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Train/instruct new employees on the job
  • Monitoring employees productivity and behaviors
  • Solve process/product issues if necessary
  • Give advice to the Supervisor on progress of the trained employees
  • Support employees and leading hand in terms of productivity measurements
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) of the (sub) departmental processes
  • Administration / registration of new trained employees (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of WMS and SAP (preferred)
You’ll need to have
  • Vocational (MBO+) level (both works as educational experience)
  • Knowledge of the English Language (verbal and written), any additional language is a plus
  • Proficient in MS office in order to document and report results
  • Able to accurately communicate and connect to people
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Pro-active and result driven to reach departmental targets
  • Team-player and leading by example so optimal usage of the employees is maintained
  • Coaching and able to persuade people without hierarchical lead
