While many operational financial tasks are managed by shared service centres, your expertise will ensure high-quality financial reporting, continuous improvement of processes, and alignment with local and global compliance standards.   • Prepare detailed monthly management reports for leadership teams and regional finance.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial statements (NL-GAAP).
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with business units to develop forecasts, analyses, and insights on performance.
  • Collaborate with offshore shared service centres for accurate transaction recording.
  • Lead and simplify finance processes, including SOX compliance and order-to-cash activities.
  • Drive digital transformation by implementing advanced analytics tools and modern systems.
  • Enable process standardization and encourage continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • A Master's degree in Business Economics or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a Controller or external audit role.
  • Strong understanding of Dutch GAAP and related compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Power BI and Power Apps to address complex business challenges.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
