This role requires a deep understanding of Anaplan platform capabilities, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The Solution Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and other relevant parties, to ensure effective and efficient Anaplan solutions that drive business performance and strategic insights. Additionally, the Solution Architect will lead a team of 2-3 Anaplan professionals and liaise with external consultants to drive transformation.Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:Design scalable, robust, and efficient Anaplan models and solutions tailored to the specific needs of the organization.Develop architecture and strategy for Anaplan implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Ensure sustainable and scalable setup and integration of Anaplan solutions with other enterprise systems.Lead the implementation of Anaplan models, including building, testing, and deploying solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of Anaplan solutions with other systems.Plan level of effort and resource requirements for various implementation projects.Continuously monitor and optimize existing Anaplan solutions to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.Maintain and update Anaplan models in response to changing business requirements.Lead and manage a team of 2-3 Anaplan professionals.Mentor and develop team members to ensure high performance and career growth.Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions.Provide training, support, and guidance to end-users to maximize their utilization of Anaplan solutions.Liaise with external consultants to drive FP&A transformation and connected planning initiatives.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure they understand and can effectively use the solutions provided.Create and maintain detailed documentation of Anaplan models, processes, and architectures.Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, compliance standards, and data governance policies.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.Advanced degree or certifications in related areas are a plus.Minimum of 8 years of experience working with FP&A teams or in consulting, including solution architecture, implementation, and optimization with Anaplan.Proven experience in translating business requirements into Anaplan solutions.Experience with OneStream and Snowflake is a huge plus.Experience in the technology industry is highly beneficial.Expertise in Anaplan platform capabilities, including model building, data integration, automation, and PlanIQ.Master Anaplanner certification is highly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive solutions to complex business challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in programming languages and data manipulation tools is a plus (e.g., SQL, Python).Ability to deal with change & ambiguity effectively.Experience with agile development methodologies.Knowledge of finance, supply chain, or sales planning processes.Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and priorities.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Experience with sustainable and scalable setup & integration.Previous experience with FP&A transformation and Connected Planning initiative.Benefits & Perks - Global Impact, Personal Relevance:Booking.com’s Total Rewards Philosophy is not only about compensation but also about benefits.
