About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead large-scale maritime steel construction projects such as drydocks and pontoons, overseeing both engineering and production phases. You will be fully responsible for successful project execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of complex steel projects from start to finish.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate issues proactively and transparently.
- Provide structured updates and reports throughout the project lifecycle.
- Escalate challenges when necessary and drive effective resolution.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in the maritime or steel construction industry.
- Strong practical experience and a hands-on mentality.
- Higher professional education or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or maritime discipline.
- Solid communication skills and good command of English.
- Willingness to travel and/or work abroad for short to medium durations as needed.
- Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented, capable of leading complex technical projects
- Must hold a valid EU work permit
- A permanent position in the South of The Netherlands.
