Keep reading!As a train cleaning staff member, you are responsible for keeping the trains clean and tidy - from the floors and windows to the sanitary facilities. Thanks to your effort, passengers can enjoy a clean and comfortable journey every day. More than 2,900 trains are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.Sometimes, you'll carry out cleaning tasks during a train ride, which makes the job dynamic and varied. At other times, you'll be in charge of a deep clean together with your colleagues, making sure the train is spotless inside. This active job keeps you moving constantly and ensures you rack up plenty of steps!Your tasks include, among others:? Sweeping and mopping floors? Cleaning staff areas for train drivers and conductors? Cleaning toilets? Emptying waste binsBefore you start, you'll receive extensive training and a proper onboarding program, so you'll be well prepared. Of course, we'll also provide suitable work clothing.Working days & hours:The work location is active 24/7, which means flexible shifts. Together with your planner - your regular point of contact - you'll create a schedule that perfectly matches your availability.Whether you want to work part-time or as many hours as possible: with us, you decide your own availability! No fixed hours or rigid schedule, just maximum flexibility. The broader your availability the more often we can schedule you. You'll coordinate this closely with your planner.Shift times:
  • Day shift: 09:00 - 17:30
  • Late shift:14:00 - 22:30
  • Night shift: 21:30 - 05:30
You can work 16 to 24 hours per week, and if you're highly flexible, it can be even up to 40 hours per week.Over de opdrachtgeverYou will be working through Actief Werkt! at Vebego Cleaning Services. This is a nationwide family-owned company that provides cleaning and facility services for offices, healthcare institutions, and trains.Wat wij jou bieden:
  • A base salary of €15.47 gross per hour for employees aged 20 and above
  • Night shifts (Monday to Thursday) pay €20.11 (130% shift allowance on top of base salary)
  • Weekend shifts pay €23.21, including a 150% shift allowance
  • 8.33% holiday allowance, paid in May
  • You accrue 25 vacation days (based on a full-time contract)
  • Weekly payment on Tuesdays (or once every 4 weeks if preferred)
  • Pension contributions from your first working day
  • Travel allowance of €0.14/km from 10 km one way, increasing to €0.23/km from the 30th km
  • A convenient app to view your work schedule
  • A dedicated contact person for all your questions
  • With good performance, you can get a contract with our client after one year
  • Together, we will create a schedule that suits you
  • Opportunity to obtain certificates and/or diplomas at the expense of Actief Werkt!
Wat vragen wij van je:
  • You live in the Eindhoven or in the surrounding area
