SamenvattingAmsterdam Banking Wo Master In dienst bij opdrachtgever Geplaatst in:FinanceBankingOver deze vacatureEntree level Quant Finance position at leading global private equity investorDe functiePosition SummaryYou will be in close contact with all teams within the organization, providing you with exceptional exposure to all aspects of the private equity business: from fundraising and investor onboarding to the investment process and portfolio analysis. You will set up and update in-depth analyses of the firm's portfolios, together with team members from the Amsterdam and New York offices. This involves dealing with large sets of data to create, manage, analyze, report and explain investment or portfolio information. In addition, the role includes focus on increasing the scalability of current systems and tools to accommodate the rapid growth of AlpInvest's investor and product base.Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the investment portfolios and their performance for investments teams and investors - 15%
  • Collaborate with investment teams to inform portfolio positioning with data driven insights on exposures, capital allocations, performance trends and liquidity - 20%
  • Prepare analytical materials to support fundraising and product development, including performance analysis, exposure modeling, and track records - 20%
  • Support the firmwide performance analysis and financial planning efforts - 15%
  • Develop scalable tools and dashboards using cloud-based technology (e.g. Snowflake, Sigma) to drive efficiency and expand (AI-enabled) insight generation across the platform - 15%
  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reporting with a strong focus on automation and process improvement - 15%.

  • University degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Quant Finance, Engineering (preferably with supplementary degree in Finance or Economics).
Work Experience
  • Relevant study assignments and internships are an asset

  • Good command of English
  • Strong analytical capabilities, Excel and database skills. Familiarity with programming is preferred
