methods; correlate results with method parametersIn this position, you will lead the analytical activity surrounding the area of Biodegradation
Testing for Taste, Scent, and Natural Products within IFF. You will be accountable for
translating IFF business and product development needs into biodegradation data by
working closely with colleagues around the world and external parties including regulatorybodies. Correlating results from existing commercially recognized methods with method
specifics and tested materials is a key area of attention.Beyond technical expertise, project planning, communication and collaboration with
stakeholders, and timely reporting of accurate results are also critical to success in this
position.Being at the forefront of development of Taste & Scent ingredients and materials requires a
deep understanding of relevant, state-of-the art tools methods and models. You should
therefore enjoy monitoring developments in these areas closely, and pro-actively exploring
and pursuing new and alternative technical approaches.What Makes You the Right FitPh.D. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with at least 5+ years of
industrial experience.Thorough understanding of instrumental analytical techniques GC and GCMS.Experience with executing standard biodegradation testing methods.Proven track record of success in developing and implementing new analytical
technologies, methods and / or models.Excellent written and oral communication skills.How Would You Stand Out?Knowledge of biochemistry linking biodegradation and chemistryExperience with OECD-GLP
Experience in the flavour, fragrance, food, consumer products, or pharmaceutical
