Every day, you'll be building relationships with your prospects, helping them better understand the common pain points within their industries and outlining how UKG can help. Everyone likes to help people - and we're going to pay you for doing just that!What we'll do for you to make each day amazing?
You'll often be making the first impression of UKG to our potential prospects - it is imperative we invest in you, to make that first impression truly positive.
We'll train and develop you to position yourself as a trusted advisor, allowing you to help and support the prospective buyer. You'll share great resources, recommend events they can attend and connect them with UKG sales associates who will take the conversation forward.As a Business Development Representative, you will:
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
- Determine the prospect's interest in the UKG product suite (WFM/HRSD/People Operations)
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch and English. While German is a plus, it's not mandatory for this role.- Sales Experience: While previous business development/sales development experience is preferred, we welcome applications from recent graduates or individuals with internship experience who demonstrate a passion for sales and a willingness to learn.- Goal Orientation: Candidates should show potential for success by demonstrating determination, eagerness to achieve targets, and a strong work ethic.- Industry Knowledge: Experience or understanding of SaaS/Cloud solutions and the HR market is advantageous but not essential. We value candidates who are eager to learn and are curious about the industry.- Creativity and Innovation: This role encourages out-of-the-box thinking and innovation. We encourage our candidates to bring fresh ideas and a creative approach at prospecting for B2B customers.- Technology Proficiency: While proficiency with tools such as Outreach, Sales Navigator, and Salesforce is preferred, we are open to candidates who are tech-savvy and willing to learn new systems and tools.To summarize, we're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communications, phone handling, writing, and listening skills.
- Is a native or fluent Dutch speaker.
- Is curious by nature, wanting to learn by trying new things.
- A true team player, sharing learnings good or not so good.
- Socially savvy, who is very comfortable using LinkedIn.
- Is articulate and with good business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Has at least one year of professional experience.
- Is target driven & a self-starter.
