:To support various, sustaining projects on site for a client (data center) in the region of Groningen (The Netherlands) we are looking for a SENIOR MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER able to join us at short notice.PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-discipline team of more than 3,700 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.Our Vision is to be a highly valued and creative delivery partner, building a more sustainable world with our clients.Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department supports projects in different sectors on basis of project staffing with consultants working at the client’s site.:Responsibilities include :
  • Lead several mechanical projects for a data center.
  • Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for data center mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated data center solutions.
  • Engage with the client to understand the specific requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions.
  • Build strong client relationship through effective communication and project delivery.
  • Able to analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions.
:Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master in (Electro-)Mechancal Engineering
  • Lives in the region of Groningen (or is prepared to stay in this region during weekdays)
  • Speaks fluently English (knowledge of Dutch is an advantage)
  • You have a large experience in leading mechanical projects
  • You have also some experience in the design phase of projects
  • Experience with data centers is an advantage
  • You are available on short terms
