- Initiate customer and user research to uncover and prioritize underlying opportunities or issues. You also support colleagues in conducting customer research (with guidance)
- Create research proposals and test plans and know how to engage others in them
- Link research to daily practice and collaborate with the business
- Independently conduct both qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys, and data analysis)
- Create personas and scenarios based on research data for different user types and interactions with our products and services
- Compile complete reports with clear recommendations and present insights clearly to colleagues
- Gather relevant signals from customer feedback and actively share them with the team
- Act as a research ambassador—sharing your knowledge internally and externally to inspire others

- At least 8 years of experience in customer and/or user research (preferably in a commercial setting)
- A research background, such as a completed university degree (e.g., in Statistics, Psychology, or Human-Computer Interaction)
- Strong collaboration skills to turn research insights into opportunities with your team and stakeholders
- Experience in creating (online) questionnaires and interview guides, and you excel at conducting interviews
- Experience organizing and facilitating design sprints
- Empathy that allows you to focus on what the customer experiences, feels, and needs
- Experience with (statistical) analysis using tools like Python, R, or SPSS
- Experience with PowerBI dashboards and UX design tools is a plus
- Knowledge of the pension and life insurance market and experience or affinity with B2B or B2B2C and business research is a plus
- You communicate effortlessly in Dutch, both spoken and written, at a C2 level
