
Senior Interim Organizational Change Manager for a large scale global Merger

A multinational in the Netherlands is on the verge of acquiring a globally operating organization. They are currently in the preparatory phase, where plans and proposals are being developed for the actual integration, pending final approval of the merger and authorization by the MNA (Competition Authority).
In this role as the Change Manager within the intregration project team, you will be responsible for the people side of change: the human aspect of the integration process. Both organizations will need to merge on all fronts, including people, processes, systems, and governance. This is a long-term project that will commence once the MNA approval is granted.Your Responsibilities
As the Interim Sr. Organizational Change Manager, you will guide the transition through a wide range of change management activities, including:
- Developing a change strategy: Designing and implementing a change strategy that fits the scale and complexity of the merger.
- Conducting impact analysis: Mapping the impact of the changes on various departments, teams, and individual employees.
- Stakeholder management: Identifying key figures within both organizations and maintaining effective communication to create and sustain buy-in.
- Developing and executing communication plans: Ensuring clear, consistent communication across all levels of the organization, including C-level executives, directors, department heads, team leaders, and employees.
- Risk management: Identifying potential resistance or risks that may arise during the transition and developing mitigating measures.
We are looking for a results-driven, pragmatic, and analytical change professional with experience in:
- Leading complex mergers from a change management perspective.
- Effectively communicating with and managing stakeholders at various organizational levels, from C-level executives to operational teams.
- Guiding transitions that impact the entire organization, including IT systems, processes, and cultural integration.
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- Duration: Long-term project, with an initial phase leading up to the decision for acquisition and MNA approval.
- Commitment: 4-5 days per week.
- Location: Southern part of The Netherlands
