- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of power generation systems experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Experience working in the control room for critical operations.
- Troubleshooting experience for power generation systems, mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Experience investigating failures and performing data analysis.
- Knowledge of Cooling Systems (e.g., HVAC equipment, Chillers, Cooling Towers) Mechanical systems (i.e., Fire and Safety Systems, Pumps, Tanks, Piping).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to perform maintenance or projects on the systems.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, procedures, and equipment.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
- Ensure the uptime, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Standby Power systems (Generators and associated systems), auxiliary water pumps and water treatment systems, HVAC, and Control and Monitoring Systems.
- Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions in the data center facilities systems and equipment.
- Monitor multiple information streamst in the control room and make accurate mission-critical decisions.
- Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure.
- Produce standards and templates for global control/monitoring system analysis, diagnostic, preventive maintenance, and trend logs for data center critical facilities systems.
