
Agri Business Development Management - Stream Export

- Exploring the trading ecosystem for agricultural commodities arriving in European Union
- Targeting EU importers, trade associations, and arbitration bodies to position the company as the trusted lab in export countries
- Targeting Certification Bodies (eg. Organic) to become their preferred partner for independent testing in origin countries
- Identify and map key stakeholders and strategic locations (e.g. harbors) involved in agri-commodity export/import activities
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of import and export regulations applicable to specific agricultural commodities as well as additional requirements expected by the trading companies, ensuring full compliance across relevant markets
- Work with the Agri Marketing Manager and the Local commercial teams to build tailored value propositions that highlight our unique strengths and fit the need of the key stakeholders
- Share key market insights with the internal Agri network to drive business development initiatives
- Identify and prioritize key stakeholders in each Agri sector to engage with and define a clear go-to-market strategy
- Build and nurture partnerships with trade associations and arbitration bodies, including active participation in relevant events
- Coordinate with Local commercial teams to develop compelling commercial offers in export countries
- Track and report on business development activities and performance through relevant KPIs
- Identify and prioritize key CBs that are active in MxNS geographies, especially for Organic certification, but with no or limited testing capabilities
- Align with Agri Global team or Local teams on the best way to get in contact with them
- Build and nurture relationship with them to be recognized as a strategic partner due to our Global lab network and key expertise (eg. pesticides)
- Coordinate with Global & Local commercial teams to develop compelling commercial offers
- Track and report on business development activities and performance through relevant KPIs
- Minimum 5-10 years of international business development experience, ideally in the agri-food sector
- Proven knowledge of the agricultural trading ecosystem (incl. experience with trader names) and related food safety and quality standards
- Demonstrated experience in commercial roles at country or multi-country level
- Academic background combining scientific and commercial qualification
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in digital tools (Google Suite, CRM, presentations, etc.)
- Ability to navigate a matrix organization effectively
