Are you a true ‘night owl’, have eye for detail and do you care about safety and a great service for our guests at all times? Then the position of Nigh Receptionist here at the Radisson Blu Amsterdam City Center might be something for you!During the night, all processes come together and the assistant Night Manager is the one managing the smooth running of this process and following the procedures in place. This does not mean that you are exclusively busy with reports and complex sheets. No! Besides that, you take care of the guest’s requests, telephone calls, check-in and checkout and might be even a chef too! OK, a chef might be a bit too much but you will assist with Room Service Request once your colleagues from the F&B team are not there anymore. Preparing and serving small dishes is not a problem for you.Of course, you are not working alone, there will always be someone joining you for this shift to ensure the safety of yourself, guests and colleagues at all times.Furthermore, you and the other night team member are responsible for:Staying up all night generating the reports that are needed for the finance departmentMonitoring and safe closing of the day in all payment systems and creating reports that are needed for multiple departments.Following-up on administrative discrepancies and other irregularities resulting from the night audit and ensuring correct communication on this to the right departments.Walking your safety rounds. You will do those multiple times during your shiftCreating a handover for the upcoming day.
