- Background study: Investigate the problem area, conducting a thorough study to identify key challenges and define requirements for potential solutions.
- Conceptual design: Explore creative mechatronic design concepts. Evaluate and select the most promising ideas for further development.
- Prototyping and Testing solutions: Build and test functional prototypes using tools such as 3D printers, microcontrollers, and sensor modules. Iterate designs based on experimental results and performance data.
- Report writing and documentation: Documentation of your research, design process and testing outcomes in a thesis or report.
- Are a BSc or MSc student (HBO or WO) enrolled at a Dutch educational institution, studying mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial design, creative technology or a related field.
- Have a solid understanding of mechatronic design.
- Possess hands-on experience with prototyping, including working with sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.
- You are looking for an internship of at least 6 months.
- Have a proactive and outreaching mindset are eager to learn.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment and are comfortable working across disciplines.
