Your TasksAs the Senior App Specialist, you will be the driving force behind app performance, user growth, and engagement in Belgium and the Netherlands. This strategic and hands-on role combines digital marketing, customer journey optimization, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to increase downloads, active usage, and conversion via the MediaMarkt app. Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Define and execute the app growth strategy aligned with regional and global business objectives.
  • Support planning and optimizing campaigns (paid and organic) to drive app installs across owned and third-party platforms (e.g., CRM, website, social, app stores, media partners).
  • Collaborate with CRM and content teams to design and implement push notifications, in-app messages, loyalty triggers, and personalized journeys.
  • Monitor KPIs (MAUs, retention, conversion, uninstall rate) and continuously improve app performance through A/B testing and user feedback.
  • Work closely with e-commerce, marketing, IT, UX, and store teams to ensure the app supports omnichannel shopping experiences and key campaigns.
  • Own and optimize app store listings (ASO), ratings and reviews, and localization for BE and NL markets.
  • Stay on top of app trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to bring best-in-class mobile solutions to MediaMarkt customers.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile app marketing or digital product management, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Proven track record in growing app installs and engagement through data-driven strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools such as Firebase, Adjust, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with ASO, mobile CRM tools and A/B testing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, with Dutch and/or French a strong plus.
