Join us and be part of a mission that transforms lives.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Controller to manage the financial operations of two Dutch legal entities within our global group structure. Based in the Netherlands, this role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global finance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating with international and local stakeholders. We offer a flexible hybrid work setup, with 2–3 days per week spent on-site in our Amsterdam office.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for both Dutch legal entities in accordance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare and file statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audit completion.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records and ensure consistency across both entities.
Local Tax and Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns (including VAT, CIT, and other statutory filings) for both companies.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on both legal entities.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with group policies, including SOX (if applicable).
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring proper documentation and audit trails.
  • Support both internal and external audit processes across the entities.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making for both entities.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Partner with local operational teams and global finance on key initiatives.
Cash Management & Treasury
  • Monitor and manage liquidity for both entities, including bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
  • Coordinate with group treasury to ensure alignment on funding and foreign exchange matters.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for local management, external service providers, tax advisors, and auditors.
  • Collaborate closely with global finance functions, including consolidation, tax, and legal teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/ Accounting
  • Recognized accounting certification (RA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a multinational environment, including multi-entity management
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and Dutch tax regulations
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Priority advantage); advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (Dutch advantage)
