As a Project Manager Construction, you will be responsible for delivering unique commercial construction projects with an average value of €10 million. Think, for example, of the Kloosterboer project in Lelystad, the NewCold facility in Wakefield, as well as new developments on the Maasvlakte and projects in countries like France.
In this role, you'll thrive on having a high level of responsibility and autonomy. You're not afraid to take a different approach and step off the beaten path - which fits perfectly, because this company doesn't participate in traditional tender procedures. Instead, they act as a true construction team partner, earning their seat at the table through expertise and a proven track record. This means you, too, will be working closely with a loyal client base - both in the Netherlands and internationally.
Many projects have unique specifications, such as cold storage facilities. Working closely with the directors and your project team, you'll help define strategic project plans and ask the right questions to truly understand client needs.
As a Project Manager, you serve as a central figure within the organization, inspiring your team to deliver high-quality results safely and on time. You'll be expected to shape and steer the project based on the agreed strategy - with “stick to the plan” as your guiding principle. It's your responsibility to manage project risks and success factors, keeping everything under control. Together with your team, you ensure thorough preparation, smart procurement, and a tightly managed execution process.Functie eisen
  • A relevant degree at a minimum of higher professional education level (HBO or equivalent);
  • Several years of experience as a project manager or operations manager within the construction industry;
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written;
  • Experienced in working with Design & Build contracts and/or integrated project delivery (construction team approach), with a strong client-focused mindset;
  • Possesses key competencies such as execution power, entrepreneurial spirit, customer focus, strategic direction, and leadership.
Geboden wordtAs a Project Manager Construction, you will receive the following:
  • A gross base salary ranging from €70,000 to €90,000 per year, depending on experience and the value you bring - excluding bonus;
