Do you want to help design the cabling networks that connect every critical system on board ships? Are you passionate about turning complex electrical designs into robust and reliable cabling networks? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in the Netherlands!FunctieAs Electrical Cabling Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating the cabling systems that connect every critical function onboard. Working in a high-tech 3D engineering environment, you will ensure that all cables are routed efficiently, safely and in full compliance with demanding standards.You will collaborate closely with colleagues from different engineering disciplines, suppliers and production teams to make sure your designs are not only technically sound but also practical to install and maintain.Specific duties in this role include:
  • Translate system designs into detailed cable routes and interface definitions.
  • Ensure compliance with EMC, fire safety, and installation guidelines.
  • Work with other engineering disciplines to solve spatial and construction challenges.
  • Support production by providing installation drawings, bills of materials and guidelines.
  • Contribute to system validation through cable verification and testing.
Voorwaarden
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related).
  • 3+ years of experience in cabling design for complex systems (maritime, offshore, or aerospace preferred).
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools such as 3DExperience, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Knowledge of EMC-compliant design and cable routing best practices.
  • Strong command of both English, both written and oral.
