As a test engineer, you're the vital link that safeguards the quality of our systems. You play a key role in customer implementations and migrations by thoroughly testing deliverables and verifying that they meet all functional and technical requirements before going live. Thanks to your precise work, we deliver stable and reliable integrations and applications that ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.You'll work closely with colleagues from Process Engineering, Application Engineering, Integration Engineering, team leads, and IT specialists. You carry out functional and integration tests based on clear test scenarios, critically analyse the results, and report your findings in a clear and structured manner. You'll also contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and documentation, and manage test data and environments.This role also offers room for professional growth. Depending on your interests and ambitions, you can develop into specialised roles such as Process Engineer, Application Engineer or Integration Engineer. This way, you continue to challenge yourself while making a valuable contribution to the ongoing digitalisation and optimisation of our processes.You achieve this by:
- performing functional and integration tests based on test scenarios;
- reporting test results and documenting findings;
- communicating outcomes and observations to customers, engineers, and IT during the testing phase;
- contributing to the improvement of testing processes and documentation;
- managing test data and preparing test environments.
- mbo+ level of education and thinking, ideally with experience in IT or logistics, or recently graduated from an hbo programme in a related field;
- experience with software testing, gained through work, internships, or school projects;
- affinity with logistics processes or WMS systems such as Blue Yonder Dispatcher;
- a structured and precise working style, with a good degree of independence;
- strong command of the English language.
