Increasingly recognised for creating some of the world’s most sought-after properties, the Group provides legendary service inspired by Asian heritage whilst representing the very cutting-edge of luxury experiences.Join us during this exciting period at the Conservatorium Hotel transitions to Mandarin Oriental by early 2026.As Spa Supervisor you will be responsible for the following duties:Being the first point of contact and proactively greeting, interacting, and assisting guests in a professional manner;Assisting in the smooth flow of the guest’s journey throughout their stay in the spa;Handling reservations and actively promoting and selling all retail items, as well as all Mandarin Oriental treatments and packages offered in the spa;Supervising, assisting, and managing the team of receptionists during their shift;Carrying out general administrative duties related to Akasha operations;Striving to enhance the guest experience through a proactive approach, training and
development of the receptionist team, and creative thinking;Reporting directly to the Akasha (Assistant) Manager.As a Spa Supervisor, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 38 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and afternoon shifts (including weekends and holidays), so flexibility is required for this position.The name Akasha reflects a core vision to harmoniously unite the four basic elements of nature: earth, water, fire and air. This combination enables a transformational and balancing experience where body, mind and soul are fully aligned. Akasha is located in a 1000m2 area in the hotel, with 7 treatment rooms, a swimming pool, Watsu tub and private Hammam. This serene environment is ideal for our guests to relax and recharge. Akasha is open daily from 6:30AM until 10:00PM.The team in Akasha consists of therapists, attendants, trainers and receptionists. Akasha has been awarded five times Best Hotel Spa of the Netherlands. Within this role it is your goal to receive this award for the years to come!As Spa Supervisor we expect from you:A minimum of two years’ experience as a Spa- or Hotel Reception Supervisor, preferably in a luxury setting;Proficiency in the English language. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus;Eye for detail, drive to success and a supportive attitude;A strong sense of responsibility: always follows up, is accurate and knows how to deliver exceptional and personalised service.Our commitment to you:A salary in scale VI of the Dutch Horeca CAO;Excellent career progression with an iconic, luxury, global hotel brand.
