As a logistics engineer, process design & deploy, you will have an international role within the EMEA region, where you analyse, design, and optimise logistics processes. You will translate customer requirements for implementations, migrations, and optimisations into efficient process designs that are scalable and standardised. You will design logistics workflows, warehouse layouts, and material flows that contribute to the optimal functioning of the organisation, while substantiating choices for picking strategies, storage methods, repacking, and shipping processes.You ensure that your designs comply with DSV standards and contribute to reducing operational costs. Additionally, you conduct data analysis to improve processes and monitor performance. You support the setup of master data and contribute to the documentation and quality assurance of processes.You will work closely with various teams to successfully execute implementations and migrations within the EMEA region, ensuring synergy between projects. Your work is crucial for streamlining and improving DSV's processes worldwide. You achieve this by:
- defining the business needs that must be met, regardless of the customer's location;
- designing and optimising logistics workflows and operational structures with a focus on globalisation and standardisation;
- creating warehouse layouts that ensure efficient operations worldwide, including hardware and the optimal flow of products, employees, and equipment;
- illustrating various process flows, including capacity requirements, which can be applied globally and optimised for each region.
- at least 5 years of experience in logistics process design, WMS implementations, and/or migrations;
- experience with WMS systems such as JDA (Blue Yonder), Manhattan, or similar platforms;
- analytical skills and experience with process modelling (DSV BPMN, etc.);
- experience with project management and Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- a salary based on your knowledge and experience, plus a 5% annual bonus paid in November;
