
Service Operations Engineer

- As a SOC Engineer, you provide support for our internal & external customers via email, tickets, phone, and messaging.
- Responsible for troubleshooting incidents to quickly resolve the issues per documented run-books and procedures.
- Effectively respond to monitoring alerts, incident tickets, information requests within predefined SLA's.
- Handling communication and notifications on major issues to all stakeholders.
- Work on continuous improvement, development, and maintenance of procedures and their documentation.
- Work with core monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, AWS (Amazon Web Services) CloudWatch and On-Call Alert Management software.
- Perform environment troubleshooting to quickly resolve the issues.
- Provide maintenance and support for SOC tool suite
- This position will require 24*7 shift work based on a predefined monthly schedule
- You have (recently) completed a Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or have some work experience in cloud

- You have an intermediate understanding of AWS Cloud, Windows and Linux environments.
- You have an intermediate understanding of Monitoring, Alerting, and incident management software (grafana, Splunk, Datadog, etc)
- Scripting experience in one of these languages is advantageous: PowerShell, bash, python.
- Prior working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) is advantageous.
