Conservatorium Hotel is looking for a Spa Attendant to join our Akasha Spa team.Are you a master of craft?   • Assisting in the smooth flow of the guest’s journey throughout their stay in the spa;
  • Proactively greeting, interacting, and assisting guests in a professional manner;
  • Organising appointment scheduling in order to maximise use of time and profitability whilst ensuring that the guests needs are of first importance;
  • Have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions with guests;
  • Completing daily briefing and informing the spa team of daily updates and information;
  • Have a thorough understanding of all retail sales items sold and all Mandarin Oriental treatments and packages offered in the spa.
As a Spa Attendant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 38 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and afternoon shifts (including weekends and holidays), so flexibility is required for this position.The name Akasha reflects a core vision to harmoniously unite the four basic elements of nature: earth, water, fire and air. This combination enables a transformational and balancing experience where body, mind and soul are fully aligned. Akasha is located in a 1000m2 area in the hotel, with 7 treatment rooms, a swimming pool, Watsu tub and private Hammam. This serene environment is ideal for our guests to relax and recharge. Akasha is open daily from 6:30AM until 10:00PM.The team in Akasha consists of therapists, attendants, trainers and receptionists. Akasha has been awarded five times Best Hotel Spa of the Netherlands. Within this role it is your goal to receive this award for the years to come!As Spa Attendant we expect from you:
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Spa- or Housekeeping Attendant, preferably in a luxury setting;
  • Proficiency in the English language. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus;
  • Eye for detail, physically capable of moving and lifting heavy objects;
  • A strong sense of responsibility: always follows up, is accurate and knows how to deliver exceptional and personalised service.
