Student project: Wireless power transfer integrated circuit design for mm-sized implantsWhat you will doThe number of implantable devices is rapidly increasing. However, the range of possible implantation devices is still limited by their size and by the availability of power. Wireless powering is a popular technique to provide energy to implantable devices. However, implementing a mm-sized implant requires innovative solutions. In this thesis, the use of mid-field RF to provide power to implantable devices will be investigated. In this thesis work you will perform the following activities:
  • Literature review
  • Circuit design
  • Verification
  • Layout
  • Documentation
What we do for you As the world-best research institute, we are the center of the excellence in nano-electronics design for Internet of Things and Healthcare applications.
