As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team and promote teamwork and continuous improvement, directly impacting our department's core operations and helping us achieve our safety and regulatory standards.This role is offered on a temporary contract with potential for extension and involves shift-based work 16/7.As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:
- Leading and mentoring a team of operators to meet production targets as outlined in the master production schedule.
- Supporting the introduction of new products and equipment by providing clear user requirements to engineering teams.
- Keeping all production documentation current and compliant, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Conducting effective training for manufacturing operators on the correct use of equipment and safety practices.
- Tracking and analyzing production metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading all aspects of investigations into deviations and coordinating with specialists for effective resolution.
- A minimum educational background of HBO (higher professional education) and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device sector.
- Proficiency in automation software (Excel, ERP) and strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English to interact and lead effectively.
- Familiarity with CGMP standards and EHS&S requirements related to manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team engagement and development.
- A proactive mentality that embraces change and innovation while working towards operational goals.
- Experience with Six Sigma and other process excellence methodologies.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
- Capacity to analyze data and propose practical solutions to streamline processes.
- A commitment to constructive feedback and continuous personal and team development.
