- Translate client and project needs into clear system and subsystem requirements
- Lead the management of both functional and non-functional requirements across combat system domains
- Coordinate IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification) activities to ensure that every requirement is properly tested and met
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers and clients to align design, integration and performance expectations
- Act as the central point for systems engineering topics within the combat systems scope
- Review architectural interfaces across radar, sensors, CMS and weapon systems
- Support technical reviews, documentation and integration audits throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive process improvements in how requirements and systems integration are managed
- Ensure alignment with naval standards, safety requirements and performance goals

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
- Proven experience in systems engineering, systems integration or requirement engineering for complex, multidisciplinary projects, ideally in the naval or defense sector
- Familiarity with combat systems such as CMS, radar, sensors, weapon integration or communication systems
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or equivalent
- Solid understanding of IVVQ processes and structured engineering workflows, such as the V-model
- Comfortable working across disciplines and engaging with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English, Dutch and/or German is a plus
- Able to pass a security screening
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are strictly required due to the military nature of the projects. Applicants with non-EU or dual nationalities are not eligible
