Job DescriptionProactively respond to and service customer technical requirements and provide the needed assistance. Troubleshoot technical problems at customer sites. Generate reports of customer unit operations with regular visits. Liaise with internal functions and business leaders to address day-to-day business issues as they arise. Participate and contribute to the commercial aspects of FCC and ART supply. The position will be remotely located in one of Grace’s European locations: Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain, UK, Italy or Poland.Responsibilities
  • Complying with all internal and external safety trainings and regulations
  • Maintain and/or grow strong technical and commercial relationships with Refining Technology customers
  • Contribute to selecting appropriate products for existing and new customers
  • Advise on the use, properties and modifications of Grace’s value-adding products and manage all customer technical requirements
  • Visiting oil refineries to service their technical needs
  • Work closely with the sales manager, as well as Marketing and RT leadership, in devising and implementing technical and commercial strategies
  • When necessary, take over additional tasks in related or other projects
  • Develop and grow technical knowledge in FCC and or resid hydroprocessing
Required Qualifications
  • Educational background within Chemical Engineering or similar
  • Fluency in English with a second language being advantageous
  • Experience in FCC operations and/or resid hydroprocessing
  • The position involves extensive travel, primarily within Europe
