Quality Assurance Engineer Shipbuilding

• Lead Supplier QA Audits: Conduct on-site audits, report findings, and drive corrective actions at supplier facilities.
• Manage Supplier Quality Risks: Maintain a comprehensive risk register and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Advance Supplier QA Standards: Contribute to the development and application of best-practice QA principles.
• Ensure Quality Process Compliance: Verify correct implementation of supplier quality protocols and procedures.
• Implement Tailored QA Processes: Adapt QA approaches to meet unique supplier needs.
• Provide Strategic Quality Reporting: Deliver supplier QA status updates and issue-mitigation reports to project management

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Quality Assurance management, ideally within naval, defence, shipbuilding, or complex industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes, preferably within shipbuilding.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Assurance, Technical Business Administration, Maritime Technology, Shipbuilding, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in conducting quality audits and managing supplier quality risks.
• Solid understanding of QA standards and principles, with the ability to apply and implement them effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to supplier sites across Western Europe.
