For an international wholesale company serving the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and technical industry, we are looking for a Financial Controller (m/v/x) to strengthen the team in Amsterdam.This is your chance to join a growing company with an informal culture, short communication lines, and plenty of room for your ideas and impact.Your roleAs Financial Controller in Amsterdam, you will be the link between operations, management, and external stakeholders. You take ownership of financial processes and play a key role in professionalizing the finance function.You will be responsible for:
  • Driving monthly, quarterly, and annual closings together with the Accounting team
  • Handling complex transactions and external reporting (NL & US GAAP)
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses
  • Supporting management with financial insights and decision-making
  • Delivering (ad-hoc) reports and analyses, and advising on financial matters
  • Improving and optimizing internal processes (AO/IC)
  • Acting as first point of contact for the external auditor
What you bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Economics or Accountancy
  • Directly coming from external audit is an option!
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with a process-oriented mindset
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a big plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
