Overview:Repligen is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Buyer planner to lead and optimize integrated planning and procurement operations for the Chromatography and Opus product lines at our Breda site. This role owns all aspects of supply planning, material procurement, Capacity Planning and team leadership, supporting critical operations that drive customer delivery, product launches, and revenue performance.The Senior Buyer will lead the planning function to ensure reliable product supply for the site Chromatography clients. The planning team is responsible for converting commercial forecasts into production plans that optimize inventory, minimize risk, and enable operational agility. This includes detailed and responsive planning to support the custom manufacturing of Opus chromatography columns, which requires a high degree of coordination and adaptability. In addition, this role will be accountable for developing and maintaining inventory and safety stock strategies that ensure material availability while balancing working capital goals.The role is hands-on and high visibility, requiring cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance, as well as active participation in Sales and Operations planning, including Executive SIOP and supporting New product Introductions. Responsibilities:As Senior Buyer Planner your responsibilities are:
  • Architect and execute detailed production plans for Chromatography and Opus products, ensuring material availability, production continuity, and achieving a minimum of 95% On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance to customers.
  • Build strategic and operational production plans that support our made-to-order and configured product lines, incorporating demand variability, product introductions, and technical transfers.
  • Ensure production plans are aligned with lead times, manufacturing constraints, inventory strategy, and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to manage real-time changes, expedite requests, and address deviations or shift-level prioritization needs.
  • Supports and aligns planning data in SAP, including BOMs, routings, and production lead times, to support MRP accuracy.
  • Provide planning support for product transitions, engineering changes, and scale-ups to ensure smooth execution.
  • Advance the Supply Chain organization in developing appropriate business strategies including inventory strategy on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs, production schedule adherence, and capacity planning.
  • Drive planning excellence through use of predictive models and exception-based management to anticipate constraints and adapt production flows.
  • Own the alignment of material availability with product configuration timelines and cross-functional launch gates.
Qualifications:The successful candidate meets the following criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s or professional certification (e.g., APICS, ASCM, PMP) preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, including planning and procurement roles in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing product lifecycle transitions, NPIs, and planning for configured-to-order or made-to-order products.
  • Advanced ERP experience (SAP required); knowledge of planning tools.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience in Executive SIOP or similar forums.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present complex scenarios to senior
