- Lead the design of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, scope, and timeline objectives.
- Coordinate design and permitting processes, guiding projects through all phases.
- Independently execute projects, adhering to professional standards and project goals.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality construction documentation for new builds and renovations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative technical solutions during the design phase.
- Provide technical leadership and input within multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage robust project documentation in collaboration with our Global Design Service teams in Bucharest, Spain, and South Africa.
- Develop functional and technical project specifications for construction.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of construction costs and conduct safety-focused risk assessments.
- Visit construction sites during the build phase to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.
- Perform detailed safety reviews and maintain consistent communication with project managers.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project development, from concept design to construction management.
- Deep knowledge of national and international standards (IEC, NEN) and best practices for large-scale project design.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams with confidence and expertise.
- Extensive proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other digital design tools.
- Experience with STABU and the ability to develop detailed technical specifications.
- Exceptional communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-changing environments and effectively managing client relationships and stakeholders.
