Join us as a Renewals Account Manager - Maternity Cover and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward.In this role, you will be working with our customers to ensure the successful renewal and retention of existing client contracts. By demonstrating the value and benefits of the Progress products, you will be identifying opportunities to close more revenue and enable the adoption and expansion of our solutions by up-selling and cross-selling. Along with all that, you will also act as a trusted partner of some of our enterprise customers advising them on various questions and helping them tackle any challenges that they might have.This is a hybrid position. Our office is in Rotterdam and is available to everyone who would like to work from the office, whether regularly or occasionally. The position is suitable only for candidates based in the Netherlands.Please, note that this is a maternity cover position with an approximate duration of 6 months - until June 30th, 2026.In this role, you will:Engage in conversations that result in successful renewals, up-sells, win-backs, cross-sells, and referrals as well as identify and transfer new business leads to account management teamsReconcile orders against contract parameters ensuring proper license configurations and pricingPrepare quotes and book orders of diverse complexity to ensure proper invoicingManage pipeline by tracking all customer activity, from prospect to deal closureMaintain an updated sales forecast in SalesForce.comHandle customer inquiries through to resolution while building up our customers’ awareness and understanding of the product attributes, elements, upgrades, add-ons, etc.Partner with Sales, Tech Support, Finance, and product teams to address challenges and ensure customer satisfactionYour background:Proficiency in English; French or German language is a big plusGood command of Excel with the ability to easily interpret mathematical informationResults-driven, with a customer-first mentality and eager to learnStrong communication, consultative, and influencing skillsProven team playerComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to meet evolving business requirementsStrong attention to detail, following and improving processesAdditionally, it would be beneficial if you have:Background in contract renewals, sales operations, or account management within an enterprise environmentRelevant educational background in technology, business, economics, or similar.If this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
