who are youTo keep the process running, it is important that you, as a welding operator, meet the following requirements:
  • You are 18 years or older;
  • You speak English or Dutch;
  • You are willing to participate in a training program;
  • You are available to work a 3-shift system;
  • You are available Monday through Friday;
  • You hold a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one;
  • You are comfortable working in a dusty environment.
what will you doAs a welding operator at SIF, you will work with semi-automatic welding machines to create welded joints between different metal plates. You will receive training for this role, and yes, you will be paid during the training!Your tasks will include:
  • Creating welded joints according to welding specifications;
  • Correctly setting up and operating the machines;
  • Performing maintenance on production machines and equipment;
  • Conducting inspections and tests before starting production;
  • Reporting production data and maintaining relevant documentation.
