Please visit our website:Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Lead/ Senior Project Scheduler to join our Energy and Natural Resources Sector in the Netherlands.Working within a friendly, professional, and highly successful team; you will have an opportunity to progress your career and work on large and complex Energy projects.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibility is to ensure that all measures are taken to finish the work within the given frame regarding cost and time, with special emphasis on the projects prioritized objectives. The Senior Scheduler also supports the Schedule lead/ Project Director in all aspects to keep the project(s) under control, allowing the successful achievement of the given project goals.You will implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations.You will coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown structures (CBS) in concert with project manager, cost manager and contractor project controls lead and in conjunction with Project Execution Plans.You will promote and maintain the overall integration and integrity of contractor schedules within the suite of P6 project schedules which includes reviewing schedule durations, dependencies and logic, recommending improvements where possible, reviewing cost and resource loading and validating schedule revisions.You will perform critical path analysis and comparisons to the baseline of the contractor provided schedules.You will prepare regular reports and collect data in support of company and client benchmarking and run reports that identify cost and schedule trend data. These reports will be shared with the client and then you will help guide the Contractor on how they can manage or control the trendsYou will work close together with the construction team in order to control the schedule.Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the infrastructure and/ or Energy sector (Energy, Defense, Rail, Airports, Highways, Water / Utilities)
- Experience of working in complex, fast paced, multi-stakeholder environments which require proactive coordination to ensure project success
- Experience in at least one of the following: Program Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.
- Experience implementing scheduling processes across a client's portfolio
- A recognized Degree Qualification in a relevant field.
- Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques, experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment.
