Your roleAs a Risk Model Data Analyst at the Tribe Business Lending, you will play an important role in the redevelopment and implementation of new rating models that are used in the Business Banking journey such as SME/SBF, Private Banking, Large Corporates, Project Finance, Commercial Property Finance and Government Related Entities. You will be responsible for connecting risk rating topics to the business lending journeys. You will be challenging, reviewing and following up on the monitoring reports and findings from Model Development, Model Validation, CAS and ECB. In addition, you will be key in representing the Tribe Business Lending in the scoping board, in meeting with internal and external regulators. Your day-to-day job will consist of delivering analysis and insights to steer on the operational, sales and risk performance of Business Banking. Next to that you also work on finding solutions to make our lending journeys more data-driven and coordinate and deliver high quality data for modeling. You organize the capturing of data into the data lake, act as a data steward, analyze and improve the data quality.Your work environmentAs a Risk Model Data Analyst, you will be part of the Tribe Business Lending Netherlands. In scope are business lending customers from Self-employed to Mid Corporate, and Private Banking mainly for Commercial Real Estate. You support our purpose: “Focus on easy, smart and personal end-to-end business lending journeys”. We empower entrepreneurs to stay a step ahead with easy, smart and personal business lending services. You will be working in an Agile environment by being a member of a multidisciplinary team of 8 to 9 specialists. Your colleagues will have a background in Process management, IT, Data Analytics/Management in the business and risk domain. You work closely with the colleagues from Sales, Pricing, Operations, Credit Risk and Finance.What are we looking for?
  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/ or equivalent experience of at least 3 years within data reporting & statistics.
  • You are analytically strong and are a star in assessing and solving problems, making analyses, and sharing results with impact
  • You have experience with querying languages (e.g., SQL, SAS) and BI tooling (e.g., Cognos and PowerBI)
  • Affinity or experience with Business Lending and Credit Risk Management
  • To be able to influence and convince not only peers but also the stakeholders based on analytical results.
  • Someone who likes to share knowledge with the Tribe and Business banking on Risk Rating
  • Communicatively strong, team player and taking initiative and ownership
