QA Specialist - Pet Food Industry

• Investigate customer complaints, prepare reports, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements to reduce recurrence.
• Conduct and report on daily GMP, hygiene, and glass audits, authorizing factory release and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and environmental teams to resolve quality-related issues, including fabrication close-outs, water testing, and foreign body risk assessments.
• Maintain and update quality checks, KPIs, and documentation within the quality management system, including traceability exercises and mock recalls.
• Participate in internal audits, HACCP activities, and food safety culture initiatives while supporting continuous improvement across the site.
• Prepare and send customer reports as required, and provide cover for quality team members when needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a QA role, preferably in the pet food or food industry
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and quality assurance principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
