Job Description:As SHE Officer DAB at Envalior, you will lead the implementation of safety and environmental policies, ensuring that all operations comply with local regulations and corporate standards.As SHE Officer in the chemical industry, your main responsibilities and impact include:
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel through rigorous SHE practices.
  • Securing compliance with environmental laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the sustainability of operations by embedding SHE principles into daily activities.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving the SHE Management Systems in compliance with: OSHA 18001 and ISO 45001
  • Applying and integrating key work processes such as: Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence and Management of Change (MOC)
  • Ensuring that contracts and operations are executed in alignment with SHE standards agreed upon with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: MBO or HBO in a relevant technical or safety-related fiel
  • Technical Skills: MS Office, Safety Management Systems (SMS), SD EHS (or similar) and risk tools: BowTieXP, FMEA, RCA facilitation, SDS & Chemical Inventory software
  • Experience: 3-5 years in SHE or related roles
  • SHE program implementation, chemical safety (REACH, GHS, NFPA)
  • Incident investigation & RCA, risk assessments (JSA, HAZOP, FMEA)
  • Emergency response, industrial hygiene, safety training
  • Waste & emissions management, internal/external SHE audits
  • Regulatory compliance and reporting
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, HVK and Internal Auditor: ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001
