- As a surveyor, you will independently carry out inspections at both newbuild Offshore related equipment at suppliers for compliance with Lloyd's Register's Rules and the regulations applicable to each project.
- The surveys to be carried out related to the areas of manufacturing, welding, assembly and acceptance tests.
- Some of the surveys are carried out offshore on Oil&Gas/offshore Wind assets in the North Sea, which include the inspection of offshore cranes, other equipment, modifications and structure.
- Verification audits to be carried out on- and offshore are also part of the tasks in which the safety standards and measures are inspected.
- It is a versatile and varied job, and you are often the first point of contact between manufacturer, suppliers and customer.
- Flexibility is required and therefore there is room to organize your time yourself. Despite your independence, you are part of a collegial team of specialists who are there for each other. You help each other with technical advice and expertise; You learn from each other.
- HBO/HTS mechanical engineering, Maritime Academy or similar technical direction.
- At least 5-10 years of practical experience in similar work.
- Preferably in possession of BOSIET/FOET, medical, CA-EBS, etc.
- Willingness to work offshore for one or more days.
- Communicative, customer-oriented, analytical, honest, responsible, independent, flexible.
- Proficiency in the Dutch and English Language (written and oral) commensurate with the work.
- Flexible, stress-resistant and a team player.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Is keen to take accountability and ownership for delivering customer needs
- Can self-manage and prioritize tasks towards achieving goals.
- Is effective at solving problems, troubleshooting and making timely decisions
