As part of the renewed strategic agenda, the business is undergoing a dual transformation: simplifying and streamlining operations for improved profitability, while executing high-impact M&A initiatives to shape our portfolio of the future.This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, transformation leadership, and M&A execution-offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our European Foods business.We offer:· Contract for 10 Months, extension possible· Salary between 6600 euro and 770 euro, depending on experience· Start date: asap· Hybrid workingMAIN JOB PURPOSEAs Finance Manager Transformation and M&A, you will lead and support the financial delivery of major transformation initiatives and strategic M&A projects across the Foods EU portfolio. You'll be responsible for driving cost savings, enabling leaner portfolios, and ensuring seamless execution of carve-outs and transitions. This role requires a sharp strategic mindset, strong operational finance skills, and the ability to influence across a wide stakeholder network.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESTransformation Agenda:· Translate transformation projects (in-flight, pipeline, scoped) into actionable financial plans impacting the P&L.· Drive governance and accountability across cross-functional project teams to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.· Manage budgets (Capex and restructuring) and ensure robust financial control of transformation initiatives.· Coordinate central governance forums to reflect risks, opportunities, and delivery statusM&A Execution:· Lead financial execution of brand carve-outs (e.g., Unox / Vegetarian Butcher), ensuring day-one readiness and transition success· Oversee monthly carve-out activities including P&L reporting, inventory, TSA charging, and financial handshakes· Maintain weekly governance with market finance and implementation teams· Partner closely with the Unilever M&A team and senior Foods EU leadership to align on strategic prioritiesSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE· Professional finance qualification equivalent to CA, CIMA, ACCA. MBA or Master's degree desirable.· 7-9 years of experience in financial, operational and/ or business partnering roles preferably within SC, FP&A, M&A, Business Partnering.· Natural passion for process design, business results and continuous improvement.· Biased towards actions that have the most impact to the business.· Has strong P&L knowledge, understanding of control frameworks & experience with month-end/ FC processes.· Being able to work under time pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.· Excellent analytical skills with ability to see the big picture, whilst interested to dive into details.· Interact effectively in a wide network of stakeholders and to develop with them collaborative relationships.· Proactive, hands-on mentality to ensure things get done and holding self & others accountable.· Strong engagement, presentation and communication skills in English· Consumer and customer focus;· Growth mindset;· Bias for action;Bezoek voor meer gerelateerde vacatures
