Do you have expertise in piping systems engineering? We are looking for an experienced engineer who will contribute to the design and integration of advanced piping systems for modern ships. Read on!FunctieAs a Piping Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and integrating piping systems that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will be responsible for analysing specifications and delivering detailed engineering packages, ensuring that maritime projects are successfully executed.Specific duties in this role include:
  • Analyse and assess technical specifications for piping systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements, regulations and quality standards.
  • Set up and model basic engineering packages in a 3D environment.
  • Develop detailed engineering and production packages based on the basic design, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Update engineering packages as needed, providing technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to optimise piping solutions within the overall vessel design.
Voorwaarden
  • A relevant technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in piping systems engineering, ideally within shipbuilding or offshore installations.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with proven experience in modelling and designing complex piping systems.
  • Experience working on complex engineering projects.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
