Type: deta-perm (not suitable for freelancers/ZZP)About the roleAs a Senior Java Engineer , you will be part of a dynamic Scrum/DevOps team that focuses on delivering fast, customer-centric reporting solutions. You will design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software to collect transactions, generate reports, and distribute them through multiple channels.This role offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment with two-week sprints, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and mentor junior colleagues in the team.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deliver reporting software solutions.Collect transactions and generate reports for multiple distribution channels.Embrace iterative development and participate in milestone reviews with stakeholders.Propose improvements and challenge the status quo.Coach and mentor other team members.Requirements8+ years of professional Java experience.Proficiency with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/JDBC .Strong skills in Git, Maven, unit & integration testing .Experience with CI/CD pipelines and relational databases.Solid stakeholder management experience.Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with a hands-on and proactive attitude.Fluent in English (written and spoken).OfferStart date: October 1, 2025 .Duration: 12 months+ (extension possible).Weekly hours: 36 .Work location: Amsterdam .Long-term assignment with impact on high-quality reporting solutions.
