- Responsible for the customer relations and sales performance, with primary focus on the assigned region and possible expansion with other countries
- Drawing up a regional sales plan with clear objectives for the coming years, in line with the strategy and annual company budgets
- Maintaining and further utilizing the partnerships with key accounts and realising additional business with other existing and new clients
- Negotiating business contracts about products, prices, delivery terms and other conditions
- Developing custom-made solutions in collaboration with various clients for products, packaging formats and logistics services, in close cooperation with other functional disciplines
- Monitoring and evaluating the customer performance and initiating improvements where and when needed
- Collecting and sharing relevant information about customers, market trends and competitors, in order to stimulate new business development opportunities
- Active member of the Sales team and reporting to the Manager Sales / Managing Director
- Bachelor or Master degree, e.g. in a commercial or business direction
- Proven and successful experience in area- and / or key account management and new business development with consumer food products in relevant international markets
- Capable of combining a customer and market driven mentality with a good understanding and connection with the internal organisation
- Has affinity with and/or genuine interest in the market for organic and biodynamic products
- Fits the culture and dynamics of an independent and growing family business with own responsibilities and short internal communication/decision lines
- Excellent communication skills in the relevant languages for the assigned region
- Comfortable working from a home base with regular travelling and available for at least 2 days a week at the head office in Haulerwijk
- Personal characteristics: entrepreneurial, customer driven, convincing, structured, connecting, transparent and pragmatic.
