Account Manager - Upsell & Retention – Dutch & English

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Retain and expand the company's customer base
- Manage and expand the portfolio values of assigned customers, offering appropriate strategies to further develop and increase them
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Act as the primary point of contact for all upsell and retention-related matters
- Ensure that customer satisfaction and retention are maximised by proactively anticipating customer needs and offering timely solutions
- Identify upsell and cross-selling opportunities within existing customer portfolios, aiming to increase revenue and customer value
- Develop and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with the sales and product teams, focusing on maximising customer success and company growth
- Gather customer feedback and insights, sharing them with internal teams to drive continuous improvements to products and services
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to upselling and retention activities
- Provide regular reports and analyses to the management teams
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, project management, or marketing, preferably in the financial sector or with KYC solutions
- Knowledge of and experience with IT will be considered an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills for (complex) situations, including pricing, terms, and other key aspects of agreements
- Organisational skills and a structured work style
- Strong customer orientation with proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships
- Proactive and solution-oriented mentality, able to perform under pressure
