In this role, you will take on the challenge of running the day-to-day operations and driving the long-term business of this new Hermès entity in Amsterdam.
You will work closely with the Amsterdam PC Store & Area Manager to ensure sales targets and client service standards are achieved and delivered through a highly motivated and knowledgeable team of Sales Associates. As part of the wider Amsterdam management team, you ensure fluid communication and synergies across all Amsterdam stores. You will contribute to and transmit the vision and image of Hermès Amsterdam to teams and clients.

- Drive and achieve store's sales objectives
- Monitor business performance indicators and develop action plans to meet targets and enhance the growth of the shoe department
- Identify and develop client development opportunities
- Support store manager in preparing the buying sessions
- Be an ambassador of Hermès: demonstrate exemplarity and excellence in all client interactions
- Coach team to provide a consistent level of personalised service to all clients
- Foster client culture within the team, increasing loyalty of existing clients and sharing best practice on clientelling activities
- Handle client complaints and be a strong support to the team in case of conflicts
- Plan morning briefings, ensuring involvement of all team members
- Plan daily activities, setting objectives and assigning tasks to the team
- Assist team in the selling ceremony and front-of-house operations
- Train and motivate team to achieve best performance within Hermès standards and everyone's development needs
- Define personal development objectives, set expectations and targets
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching
- Together with Store & Area manager and Learning Manager, identify and implement training needs
- Collaborate with operations team and store management to improve end to end processes in store
- Facilitate continuous collaboration with visual merchandising, using VM as a business driver
- At least 10 years of high-end retail experience
- 3-5 years of managerial experience in a complex retail environment is a must
- Ability to lead and drive business performance and customer service through engaging people management skills

- Proficiency with IT tools
- Fluency in Dutch and English
