Then apply now!From within the SWIFT Central Control Center, we manage our global and critical financial networks and services. In one of the Level 1 technical teams, we are looking for a candidate who brings the right experience and has the drive to go through an accelerated on the job learning path. We operate in a 24/7 financial world, which means the team works also on a weekend rota (day hours only). With oversight from more senior staff, you will be in the front line to manage the service and keep availability and security to the highest standards.Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Be part of a Level 1 technical team managing the SWIFT services from the Control Room.
  • Perform first line monitoring of applications and servers to detect and respond on incidents
  • Collaborate with other Level 1 departments in the Control room and work with Level 2 expert and development teams to identify and correct problems
  • Make use of Standard Operating Procedures and keep documentation up to date
  • Implement changes on applications to enhance products or to mitigate problems
  • Stay up to date on product updates and be ready to support the changed applications
  • Take initiatives and work on improving our monitoring capabilities through automation.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Experience in a similar position in a comparable operational and technical monitoring environment is an asset.
  • Must be willing to work in a shift schedule which includes only weekends (30 %)
  • Eager to learn with a keen interest in IT, pro-active, enthusiastic, analytical, communicative, take initiative, investigative mindset and team player.
  • Good communication skills in verbal and written English
Knowledge in following areas is an advantage:
  • Scripting
  • Elasticsearch and/or Kibana
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft windows and Unix like OS (RHEL or UNIX)
