The Technology department plays a key role in the continuous development of new products and technologies in order to strengthen our position on the market and differentiate our products.As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working in a multi-disciplinary development team, for ADAPTO. This storage and retrieval system is part of Vanderlande’s Material handling systems in warehousing and airports.Vanderlande ADAPTO:Your position
As a DevOps Engineer you combine software development (Dev) and OT operations (Ops) to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and speed of software development and deployment processes. A crucial role bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring smooth and continuous delivery of software products, for ADAPTOKey Responsibilities:
  • Learning and Transition: Work closely with an experienced DevOps Engineer to learn and take over their responsibilities. This includes understanding existing systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including product development teams and corporate technology departments, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
  • System Management: Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to system performance, security, and scalability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our systems and processes.
  • Software Management: Ensure the smooth operation and integration of software running on high-end equipment, maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.
  • Support the transition to full compliance to NIS2 cybersecurity
Qualifications:
  • Academic Background: Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Curiosity: A strong desire to learn and grow to a senior level in the field of DevOps.
  • Social and Collaborative: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Enthusiast and Passionate: A genuine interest in technology, coding, and continuous learning.
